| THE QUESTIONNAIRE IS ONLINE |
The FNR has now published the online questionnaire related to the Foresight exercise.
The
general purpose of the questionnaire is to collect your ideas for
future research axes in the public sector, identify objectives and
targets of public sector research and assess support instruments to
support the future research priorities.
The questionnaire is structured in 5 parts:
- About you
- Future priorities for
public research
- FNR's role in public
research in Luxembourg
- The objectives and
targets of public sector research
- Overall comments
The first section of the questionnaire dealing with general information
about the respondent is followed by the main section of the
questionnaire (section 2) which consists in an assessment of possible
research fields. In this section, you are presented with an initial
list of research domains developed using research domains/axes
identified from various sources. We invite you to assess these domain
areas and its related key research axes as well complement the tables
with research domains and key research axes where you consider that
there are gaps.
In
section 3 and 4, we want to collect your view on FNR's role in public
research in Luxembourg and the objectives and targets of public sector
research.
The results of this questionnaire will be used to prepare
the Exploratory Workshop (mid May) where domain priorities will be
discussed. In the second phase of this exercise, detailed research axes
for the retained domains will be established involving stakeholders.
The
questionnaire is accessible online on for all registered members. You
can access the questionnaire through the ‘Private area’ section in the
menu (on the left hand side of this website) once you logged on to the
website.
We estimate that it will take approximately 1-2 hours to complete the questionnaire.
Please note that the deadline for this questionnaire is 12th of April 2006.
We
would very much appreciate if you, as a stakeholder in the field of
(Luxembourg) Research, would support and promote the questionnaire and
make this information on the questionnaire available to relevant
colleagues. Your colleagues will need to go through the registration
process detailed on the website if they wish to fill out their copy of
the questionnaire.
To give an additional incentive for people to
fill out the questionnaire, we will randomly reward 3 participants that
have completed the questionnaire with an iPod NANO (1GB)™.
