Research on identities, diversity and integration is focused on Luxembourg’s cultural diversity and multilingualism on the one hand, and on integration processes as well as the construction of identities on the other hand. Diversity should be regarded as an opportunity in the social sense and an asset in the economic one. The ultimate aim is not only to better understand the social changes that society undergoes at present and in the near future, but also to give guidance: to provide decision makers with sound and comprehensive information and to foster political participation.
